Harbor House Residential Treatment Program

Our sober living home reinforces honesty and integrity as we provide support along the journey to cultivating a new, constructive and optimistic sober lifestyle. Teras, also located in Lexington MA, offers a less structured, but still supportive model of high standards sober living. Our team provides support to ongoing clinical work as part of that process. Tharros offers an extensive and flexible peer support program to helps clients navigate important changes and decisions.

Our sober house is affordable, homelike, and well maintained. We offer independent living for men in recovery from addiction. You are not locked in to any long term agreements, but we do ask that you come planning to stay for at least 60 days. Our experience has been that once our clients arrive at Harbor House Boston, they understand and feel the benefits.

Programs

Clients of Teras may also be involved in outpatient treatment while they develop a foundation in their recovery work, and apply to work positions. At Teras, clients work with their on-site case manager and our vocational coach to develop a recovery fellowship and engage work. In his leadership role at Teras House, Darren interfaces with clients, families, and our support staff. In the event we are not able to admit you for treatment at Harbor House, we will assist you in finding an alternative program.

Social Model Detoxification Program

Our program isn’t cookie ­cutter; we want to get to know you and help ensure that you have what is necessary for you to achieve your goals. Together, we will start discussing what you want to achieve by engaging the support at Tharros. We provide opportunities for meaningful development of community and positive social connection through these experiences and more. On Saturdays, clients can participate in engagement activities, like trampoline dodgeball, go-kart racing, and escape room challenges. Also included, our community offers activities, like weekend rock climbing, golf, and basketball. Clients also learn life skills through one on one mentoring and fun events, like cooking with exceptional private chefs!
